Barbecue Chicken Tart

Praise for Puff Pastry

What’s one product that can ultimately save the day when in a cooking rut or a time crunch? Puff pastry! It’s extremely versatile, perfect for both sweet and savory dishes, and it’s one of the most convenient pre-made products out there. Katie Workman’s Burrito Enchilada Casserole

It takes almost no work at all to turn flavorful frozen steak and cheese burritos into a Mexican enchilada-style casserole, and I will tell you that my family went BANANAS for this one.  My kids love a good burrito, and they love the flavors of enchiladas as well, and it was so easy to create this shortcut burrito “hack” casserole that made everyone extremely happy.

One Pot Meatball Orzo & Broccoli Rabe Casserole

Katie Workman’s One Pot Meatball Orzo & Broccoli Rabe Casserole

The joys of a one pot recipe are hard to summarize.  Well, that’s not quite true, these words make most of us very happy.  This recipe turns super-convenient, frozen meatballs into a creamy, slightly cheesy main dish, complete with the vegetables built right in. You could use other vegetables, such as broccoli or asparagus in place of the broccoli rabe if you’d like, and you can keep changing the dish up with the seasons.

Happy Frozen Food Day!

Celebrate Frozen Food Day!

March just so happens to be National Frozen Food Month, but on March 6, it is also Frozen Food Day. In 1984 the President Ronald Reagan noted the American frozen food industry was celebrating its 54th year of service and dedicated an entire day to its accomplishments, that’s over 85 years of frozen[1]!
